Important Update: The TNPAWS/Third Party Upload (TPU) websites will stop operating on May 2, 2025, as Tennessee transitions to a fully modernized Unemployment Insurance system. Starting May 27, 2025, tax functionality will be integrated into jobs4TN.gov. Please note that users will be unable to file Premium and Wage Reports or remit payments from May 3 – 26, 2025. The Department recognizes this unavoidable shutdown is inconvenient and appreciates your patience during this final phase of the modernization project.
Third Party Upload
Large employers may file a single text file while payroll processors may submit multiple client returns in a single text file. Only full-ICESA formatted files are accepted using this method. Those using an abbreviated-ICESA or 58 character text file must use TNPAWS.
